Rank Structure

The High Council is appointed by the
CoOrdinator of the guild.  Within the ranks of the High Council, there will be at least one representative of each Shard, but no more then 3.

Each Shard is responsible for the appointment of it's own Council Officer, who reports to the High Council Officer of that Shard.  There will be only one Shard Council Officer per Shard.

Shard Officers are applied for to the Shard Council Officer.  Typical responsibilities of the Shard Officers are recruitment of new Guild Members, training, advice and the like.  There are no limits to the number of Shard Officer positions, as long as approved by the High Council.

Decisions are based on a Majority Rules at the appropriate level.  The CoOrdinator and Spokesman do have Veto powers but should rarely if ever be used.

Greetings and well met traveler! We are a many faceted group, and just like the strong and beautiful gemstones, we have many branches that make up our family. Like fine crafted items we come together to form this group, yet we are like the individual gemstones in each item. Each shard comes together to form the very essence of the Codex. Each one may stand on its own in beauty and luster, yet when put all together it becomes a rare and special thing. Thus we have our Shards, our small groups among us yet we are as one. Seek out the knowledge of the shards and their ways for in this there is power to know the Crystaline Codex and what we stand for.

EMERALD SHARD

We are those of the Emerald Shard. We are the ones who are in tune with the ways and laws of nature. We seek to keep the balance of nature and its creatures. We are at one with the animals and seek the knowledge of their ways that we may find a way to be victorious in our cause. Seek us out good traveler that we might enlighten you to the beauty and wonder that nature holds for us all.

Professions of this shard are: Druid, Ranger and Shaman

PEARL SHARD

We are those of the Pearl Shard. We are the ones who are wise to the ways of, healing and song. We are the ones who will tend to your wounds of both mind and spirit. We are a kind and gentle sort, we wish to see no harm come to those in the land and do our best to see that all are tended to when in need. Our healing spells and songs can lift even the most desperate and bring strength to those in doubt. Yet we are strong and when we see those who are hurt and may not defend themselves we are quick to step in and put ourselves on the line for the greater good. Seek us out when you are in need and we shall come to your aid without hesitation, for we hold the power of life in our hands.

DIAMOND SHARD

 We are those of the Diamond Shard. We are the ones who are the seekers of knowledge and power. We are the casters of great spells, we can see the unseen, and have knowledge of the great arcana’s of magic. We hold the secrets that many do not understand, or fear. We are known to be an interesting group sharing our knowledge with those who seek us out. We have no need for the sword for we are strong of mind and have many a time beaten our opponents with a mere thought. Do not be fooled good traveler although we may look frail our pets can be quite formidable and will strike if they perceive us to be in danger. So approach us not with bad intentions and you will perhaps gain of our knowledge, and leave us better equipped for your journey.

RUBY SHARD

 We are those of the Ruby Shard. We are the ones who have strength of body and sword. We are those who will defend all with our very lives if the need is there. We are the ones who have given of our life’s blood to help those who are weaker and in danger. We are quick to draw the blood of others for the good of the land. We fight with our swords and our fists in the eternal struggle to rid this land of the perils that befall many. Seek us out good traveler for we may be the ones who will save your life when all is said and done.

Professions of this shard are: Warrior, Paladin and Monk

OBSIDIAN SHARD

We are those of the Obsidian Shard. We are the ones who contain within ourselves the darker side of life. We are the silent killers, thieves and workers of the dark magic’s. We are the one who live in the shadows and may prey on all who stand in our way. We can raise the dead to do our bidding and can lighten the load of others whose purses may be too heavy. We are not a completely unapproachable kind though; we are willing to pass on to those who would truly seek us out, the knowledge of our skills. Those who look in the secret places may just find us and if we are willing we will teach. Be wary good traveler and keep a vigil over your shoulder for we are always there watching and waiting.
