Crystaline Codex Itinerary

The guild has been created to provide an honorable and fun playing environment for its members, and for those who are around us.  To join our forces when the need arises to fulfill a common need.  We are a group of knowledge seekers, willing to help those who truly need it.

Crystaline Codex Code of Conduct

  • Members shall not knowingly take the kills of others
  • Trust your brothers and sisters within the guild
  • Be courteous to others, even if they are not to you
  • Do not spam channels, except in the case of teachings
  • Do not be vulgar or explicit
  • Develop your characters personality and practice it as much as possible
  • Disputes with non-members should be kept to a minimum and in private only
  • Player harassment is unacceptable to us, revenge is permitted on a single occasion
  • In the event that an incident continues to occur, call for assistance from the guild
  • Council Members may be approached at anytime for any reason
  • You must set your /roleplay to on at all times
  • All concerns, infractions, and inquiries should follow the chain of command, starting with other members within your guild, to the Council Member of your shard, and failing that the High Council
  • Use your common sense, it is your biggest asset at any given point in time
  • If you are unsure of the consequences of an action you are considering, do not do it
  • Do not barge into a camped area, ask permission to share the area
  • When you are camping an area, if not approached about sharing, this will be considered an act of kill stealing.   Inform the opposing person, and if no resolutions, deal with as you see fit
  • Make the game fun not only for ourselves, but those we play with.

Crystaline Codex Guild Policies

ITEMS
Upon acquiring an item of player value, offer at cost or reduced cost to fellow guild members.  If no online guild members desire the item, the item is open to do as you see fit.  Upon multiple members requesting to purchase the item, members of your own shard should receive priority.

CORPSE RETRIEVALS
Members of course receive priority on corpse retrievals, all items will be returned to the member requesting help.  Ensure you write down how much money you get from the corpse when looting.  It is up to you if you would like to charge non-members for corpse retrievals, but member corpse retrievals shall remain free.  At any point if a member is not returning items or coins from a corpse retrieval to the owner of the corpse that member will immediately be expulsed from the guild, shunned and outcast.

CALLS FOR HELP
Members who call for help receive priority.  Help non-members with corpse retrievals, basic information grouping if convenient and possible.  Monetary help for non-members is based on your discretion, however this is not recommended.

KILL STEALING
Crystaline Codex does not kill steal.  If someone kill steals you, enact the appropriate measures if you so wish.  This can include revenge, and if revenge is enacted, it is done on a single incident basis.  Call out to the guild to have close members join you in discouraging kill stealers.  Ensure that someone did purposefully kill steal, and was doing more then trying to help what they though was a player in need.

GROUPING RULES
The typical rules of group combat within Crystaline Codex are listed below.   These rules have been tested and implemented by the High Council to ensure that all members are aware and do not need to be reviewed each time you join a Crystaline Codex group.

  • Always Alpha Loot Corpses
( Begin with the player A and work your way to Z to collect loot)
  • Always Alpha Loot special items
(Rare Drop Items again start with Player A and work your way to Z on special items)
(EG: Runed Totem Staff, Minotaur Axes, Dragoon Dirks etc.....)
  • To minimize player deaths, we have found that you should back out of battle once you have lost 40% of your health.
(Two Bubbles gone, Three Bubbles left)
Monsters have a habit of  picking on a single player once they drop below 2.5 to 2 bubbles, which can turn out to be deadly.
  • If you are a spell caster, in a tough fight, help the tanks, pull some damage if you are out of  Mana.  Get physical. It will do you good to get a scar or two, and quite possibly save the party from demise.
  • Healers, try not to use more then half your mana on offensive spells.  You heal, that's what you do best.  Stick with it, you still get experience in a party for just healing based on how many HP you heal.  Let the cannons do the offensive stuff.  Don't get involved in a fight unless absolutely necessary or are out of mana.
